This is not a heritage property. It is actually very old. Pros: The rooms are spacious. The view of naini lake from the hotel is remarkable. Room service and hotel staff is descent. Cons: The location of the hotel is extremely steep. Avoid going with senior citizens. We stayed in room 217, the bed mattress wasn't good. The couches foam was in a very poor condition. The room table was also of very poor quality. Toilet western seats are very small. Even bathroom was very small. For breakfast hotel was charging 1500 Rupees extra which is also very high. Overall Experience: The rooms have a great view. But when it comes to location. It felt like trekking. If you want to enjoy steep trek. Book this hotel for stay. I personally don't recommend this hotel as it's not worth due to very high pricing for stays. Overall I give 2 stars only for view from the room and room service. Nothing else.

The stay gives an overall Retro Vibe. The staff also were very cooperative and proactive with their services. I would give this stay a 4.5 overall, mainly because of the food the ambience and the service. The 0.5 deduction would be of the location which is a bit on the upper planes.

Great views, very spacious rooms with great aesthetic. Good service and food overall and location is also decent. But they really need to invest in maintenance, and clean things much better. Like things are downright dirty especially the dining room cutlery and tablecloths. Good place if you're on a somewhat limited budget

We stayed at Palace Belvedere for 4 nights. The hotel is clean and good for the price. It's on a hill, so be ready to walk uphill. It's close to the mall road which is nice to visit. The staff are nice and helpful. But we were surprised about the heater. It was cold at night and they wanted to charge 300 rupees per night for a heater. It felt like they should have it for free, like a fan in a hot place. We asked for an extra blanket instead, but they said only one per room. Later, they gave us a heater for free anyway. The food was okay. Sometimes it was cold. The breakfast with 4 theplas and dahi was good. They made special tea for us, which we liked. But there were dogs barking at night, which was a bit disturbing. Overall, it's a good hotel for the price, but they should not charge for heaters and should keep the food warm. Rating: 4 out of 5

So I stayed at this property for 3 days and the breakfast was included in the stay, the food was good and so was the staff, specially Mr. Sanjay he served us well and make sure we have no complaints about anything , everything was taken care of. The best part is that mall road is nearby just 7-8 mins walk from the hotel, and the view from the hotel is amazing.

One of the worst property i visited. They provided us Deluxe room costing 5000 whose worth is not even thousand Rs. Never book this hotel using online platform as you will get cheated. The property is 150 years old and owner hasnt spend single penny on maintainance

Property was good but rooms need some renovation. Rooms were quite spacious and big but it need some renovation...But due to fact construction has stopped in nainital they might unable to do it. Washroom was quite old with seat were not fixed and shaky. Hot water was there 24x7 Ambience of this place is like Palace and awesome. Situated at a very steep road and only expert drivers can drive in that street edge to edge. Parking space is quite ample. Food taste was not so good, depend on individual. Nainital Mall road is just at walking distance

Hey made us feel so special with all the care and extra attention to smallest of things. Staff was cooperative and the food infact was awesome with excellent room service. Although located close to the main market Parking the vehicle was not a problem. and the hotel is good.Truly impressed with the hotel. heritage property .Amazing experience, this is the best place one can go for blindly if planning to this location
